Patrick is an experienced and solution-oriented civil litigator who guides clients through complex disputes with practical advice, thoughtful strategy, and effective advocacy. He understands that litigation can be disruptive and expensive, and he works closely with clients across a variety of industries to identify their goals and to tailor a strategy that best serves their particular objectives.

Prior to joining RKW, Patrick served as an associate attorney at a national law firm where he focused his practice on the financial services industry, fiduciary litigation, construction law, and business litigation. He possesses significant experience representing a wide array of clients — spanning from individuals and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies — through every stage of litigation, and he is passionate about developing creative litigation strategies to obtain favorable outcomes for his clients. He is also skilled at providing proactive advice and counsel to clients to aid them in avoiding costly problems that might otherwise culminate in litigation.

Before entering private practice, Patrick served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Pamela J. White of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. While in law school at Washington and Lee University, he worked with Public Defenders’ offices in New Orleans, Louisiana and Fredericksburg, Virginia, where he provided legal assistance to indigent clients charged with misdemeanor and felony offenses. He also served on Washington and Lee’s moot court executive board as the appellate advocacy chairperson.

When he is not in the office or the courtroom, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and taking advantage of the outdoors. He can often be found cycling, skiing, hiking, or cheering on theTennessee Volunteers and the Baltimore Orioles. He is a native of East Tennessee (specifically, the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains) and a resident of Baltimore City.
