As RKW's newest attorney, Luanne advises clients on regulatory matters, privacy issues, and various state and federal laws and assists in state and federal litigation.

Luanne graduated cum laude from William & Mary in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a minor in Biochemistry. She earned her JD from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2023, graduating cum laude with a Certificate in Health Law. While in law school, Luanne was the Executive Articles Editor for the Journal of Health Care Law and Policy, Vol.26, a member of the Moot Court Board, and earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for having the highest grade in Health Law Fraud & Abuse, Elder Law, and Estates and Trusts. Luanne also received the Litigation and Advocacy Award for her contribution to the law school’s appellate competition and the Maryland Law Scholars Award.

Prior to working in public practice, Luanne was a judicial clerk to the Honorable Melanie M. Shaw of the Appellate Court of Maryland (2023-24). She also served as a trainee with the Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Project HEAL, providing civil legal services for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and preparing policy reports.

When she is not assisting clients, Luanne enjoys running local trails with her husband and their cocker spaniel mix, Libby. Her favorite pastime is finding a sunny spot to read outdoors.
